What are some good recipes???

with Buffalo sauce in it? Over the past week or so I have been addicted to buffalo sauce. Do you have any recipes without any meat in them? I am a vegetarian.

  1. 4 small-medium yellow potatoes, peeled

        5 carrots, peeled

        5 garlic cloves

        2 vegetarian bouillon cubes

        2 tbsp dried basil

        2 tbsp dried oregano

        2 teaspoon garlic powder

        1 teaspoon pepper

        1 teaspoon salt

    Chop potatoes, carrots and garlic. Heat oil in large stock pot. Add potatoes, carrots and garlic and saute for a few minutes. Add 4 cups of boiling water in which the 2 bouillon cubes have already been dissolved. Add basil, oregano, garlic powder, pepper and salt. Stir and cover.

    Let everything simmer for approx 20 min, or until the carrots and potatoes are soft. Remove from heat and stir.  Pour 3/4 of the mixture (including ALL liquid) in a blender and puree until all is blended. You should have a couple "handfuls" of the vegetables & seasonings still in the pot. The blended amount should make approximately 2 bowls. Pour the soup into bowls and top with the vegetable bits that are still left in the stock pot.

    Then just pour the buffalo sauce over the top of it. SO good!


  2. Take equal parts ground beef, pork and lamb.

    Fry until golden brown. Mix in the Buffalo sauce and sautee for two more minutes.

    Pour mixture over top a chicken breast and serve.

  3. Trying to remember what buffalo sauce tastes like.  :O

    I would think that it would be REALLY good tossed with fresh pasta and grilled vegetables and maybe some crumbled ricotta and grated romano.

  4. Use buffalo mozzarella cheese with buffalo sauce.  Serve in a pita pocket or a hoagie roll, depending on your carb preference, with shredded lettuce, some carrots and cucumbers.  Sprinkle a dab of blue cheese (goes great with buffalo sauce) and enjoy.

    Don't want that much cheese?  You can use tofu for the mozz. cheese.  Or just fresh veggies.  Don't forget the blue cheese, it really makes the dish.

  5. Try a pizza- use a boboli crust, buffalo sauce, red onions, portabello mushrooms and cheese, and chopped cilantro. Yum.
