  1. Social Stories books are good-

    you could write your own-

look in barnes and nobles or borders-they have teh books there-to give you an idea of how to write one

    basically

    Child wants to play

Child says "Friend, lets play ball"

problem arises-describe how to handle in story form-look for free clip art-draw simple graphics-or even take photos of child in simulated situations...

  2. Your local regional center should be able to hook you up with a social facilitator in your area.

  3. http://www.sandbox-learning.com  (these cost $$, though you can print one for free)

    http://www.thegraycenter.org/

    http://www.angelfire.com/pa5/as/asteache...

  4. If your child is aged 0-6yrs, Gymboree is an excellent program. They focus on the full development of the child - social, physical, and emotional.

Gymboree of Houston, TX has classes for children with Autism and their families.

    Good luck!
