  1. the keg mansion, Marche, Mandarin, Gate 403, Also, there are a few quiet little bistro's in Yorkville.

  2. *sultans tent(different and can initiate convo since the decor is elaborate and its so different)

*baton rouge has great food and you can walk around downtown after

*if you wanted to do something a bit more expensive you could try mysteriously yours(murder mystery dinner theater)

  3. I am a former chef and worked in a number of downtown places, I guess it depends on whether it is your first date and your looking to impress her, and as for "Explorers suggestion of the Keg mansion, it close almost 10 yrs ago???

Any of the places along King St between Simcoe and Spadina are nice, in the John/Adelaide and Richmond area there are some nice palces, and you cannot go wrong in Chinatown.

Alot has to do with what you nad your date like, price wise they come in at about the same cost for 2 with a beverage, one pre-dinner drink or dessert.

I would check with you date and see if they would like to try something new, there is a Korean BBQ place on Queen acrossed the street from City-TV studios, you sit and cook you meal on a hibachi type BBQ and they give you lots to choose from, that way you can eat and talk while make things for your plate.

  4. It obviously depends on how much you're willing to spend and how open to food you and your girlfriend are.

If price isn't an issue I definitly recommend Canoe: http://www.oliverbonacini.com/

Another place with a great view is called Panorama.

The CN Tower restaurant has a great view, but in my opinion, it's highly overrated.

Another option is to walk along College street, between Bathurst and Grace.  There are tons of great restaurants to choose from, Giancarlo being my favorite, but once again, it's kind of pricy.

  5. I like the Marche, because it is a neat restaurant where you are a given a check that the servers stamp as you go around and pick out what food you want.  There is something for everyone.  I love the crepes and the Rosti potatoes.

  6. Tom Jones Steak house

    Baton Rouge

    Remys

    CN Tower 360 restaurant

Sushi place near Swiss Chalet (bloor and Royal York)

    Mr. GreenJeans

    7 West Cafe
