  2. The Hard Rock Cafe

  3. Check out Java Green on 19th Street near K.  It's an ecoconscious cafe with sandwiches, wraps, salads, paninis, rice dishes, etc.  It's a little expensive, but they try to use organic ingredients as much as possible.

If you like Indian food, Nirvana is on K Street near 18th has a buffet that features a different region of India every day.  I've never done the buffet, but I have eaten there for dinner, and the food is quite tasty.

One place I want to check out is On the Fly (www.dconthefly.com), a series of food carts that serve far better fare than your average hot dog cart.

  4. Depends are where you are at lunch time?  Any hot dog vendor could be great if you are on the Mall.  If you are in Cleveland Park I love Spices for Sushi or Thai.  If you are in Georgetown there is Clydes which is great.  In Dupont there is a great place just south of the circle, Luna Grill.

There are the standard in & out places like 5 Guys burgers, Cosi, Chipolte or Baja Fresh.

  5. The hard rock cafe! it is soooo awesome and it's really cool. If your going with a big group of people u might want to make reservations cause it can get pretty busy.

  6. Brasserie Les Halles

    Old Ebbitt Grill

    Bread Line

  7. Sticky Rice for sushi, great sandwiches at Potbelly Sandwich Works, 2 Amys for great pizza, Palena Cafe for and excellent burger, sandwiches at Breadline, and Comet Ping Pong for pizza and a game of ping pong.

  8. Mr. Henrys

    Old Ebbit Grill

It was some of the best food I have ever had. Perfect Service.

  9. Depends on when and where- the possibilities are endless.  Try www.washingtonian.com restauraunt finder for suggestions. If downtown- Ben's Chili Bowl is a DC institution...

  10. Clyde's on M St. in Georgetown
