I don't think there are any ski resorts in SCa maybe NCa. Maybe water skiing at the Long Beach Marina. There hasn't been snow in the San Fernando Valley in nearly 10 years and that was a fluke. LOL made a funny a fluke of flakes!! I'm sorry, looked on the web there does appear to be ski resorts in SCa here's a couple of links that might help:

If you Truckee "locals" don't want "outsiders" in Truckee/Tahoe, I'm sure this can be arranged somehow.

And as time passes we'll watch in amusement as resort after resort close down, "locals" lose their jobs, and y'all will have to move someplace else so that you can even afford to eat.

What, you actually thought Truckee had a self-supporting economy?  Without tourist dollars, the town would be gone from the map in less than 5 years, that's a fact.

Sure, tourists can be gapers and jerks sometimes, but realize no matter where you are in that economic food chain up there in Truckee, tourists are your meal tickets.  You should either accept that and be a bit more gracious to your patrons...  or buck up and move elsewhere where you actually have to produce some real goods and services that actually require at least a college degree and people will pay more than just the price of a lift ticket for.
