  1. There are only two places other then Mountain Creek (It sucks I know, Ice City) There is Hidden Valley and Campgaw, in Bergen county. Campgaw is the smallest, but it is also the cheapest and closest to the New York area. It is only 25 minutes from my house, and I have been skiing/snowboarding for 10 years yet i still go there to kick off the rust sometimes during the week. Hidden Valley is where I first learned to ski, which is a very good value for the money.

  2. no idea.

  3. Um...If you're only looking at Jersey, Creek is your best bet.  Other than that, I would say Camelback or Blue Mountain in PA.  And if it's not too far for you, Hunter in NY.  Really, there are no big spots in Jersey besides for Creek.  And why not Creek?  It might get a little crowded on the weekends, but South and Bear are both parks now!
