  1. I have a lot of great songs that a modern dance could be choreographed to:

    1)  We Belong- By: Pat Benatar

2.)  Night of the Dancing Flame- By: Roisin Murphey

3.)  Self Control- By: Laura Branigan

    4.)  Heartbreaker- By: Pat Benatar

5.)  Harden My Heart- By: Quartflash

**Some of these songs could also work for Jazz...**

  2. Hello,

    Here are a couple.

    i beleive: honey soundtrack.

    ill cover you

Im sorry thats all ive got.

but when choosing a song, you should make up the dance first then choose a song, then you can choose a song suitable for you dance and not the other way round. Good luck, make sure its suitable, and has good rythm and is a song that you like!!!

  3. mindy smith- one moment more

that's what I did my senior solo to, and(not to brag lol) but it really brought people to tears. the lyrics are pretty powerful, the music is beautiful, and if you put your whole heart into the performance, it will be a memorable dance

  4. I think one of the most perfect songs i ahve EVER seen for lyrical is For Good from the broadway musical Wicked. Another one is True Colors (i think that's what it's called) but i don't know where it's from. Good luck!!!♥♥♥

  5. First of all, modern and lyrical are nowhere near the same thing, so don't put (lyrical) after modern.

Death Cab For Cutie has good songs, mostly on their older albums. Hallelujah is kind of overused, and it's really slow. You did say you didn't want anything too slow or too fast.
