That's hard......

On the one hand, I'd say indulge yourself and dig out all the sad songs on earth and cry until you have a headache......

On the other, I want to say to give yourself an hour to indulge yourself and then go sit with them wherever you feel closest to where they are in relation to you in your heart and have a good long talk with that someone.

They'll be right there you know....

Afterward, go find another person you can imagine missing just as much if they passed, and take them to lunch; telling them just how much they mean to you NOW.

Your friend, will be touched knowing you love them and your other friend who passed, will bless you for not wasting any more time LIVING.
