My school (high school) is going to be hosting an environmental conference with people from different schools.

We're going to have speakers, food, and some workshops, but I'd like to get more ideas for activities or workshops we can have to keep the people engaged. It should be something multiple people (3-10) can participate in at the same time.

Some ideas we have are:

- scavenger hunt

- build your own bird feeder

- coupe more i can't recall

thanks

  1. find out the endangered species you have in your area(plants, birds, animals, reptiles)make a list of them ,put then into a group of three other similar species(3 birds)2 not threatened and 1 threatened have then guess the threatened species. Then find out what has caused then to be threatened and what is being done to help them, but have the contestants guess/figure out the above.

bring in a garbage bag of recyclable items(clean items) have a variety of items that are collected in your community in the blue box or whatever you call your curb side collection system, have items they take and items they don't take, the people must separate the items in a time contest(this will test their knowledge on the items accepted in the blue box)
