Growing grass in a cup which they glue eyes on, a mouth and a nose.  As the grass grow it looks like hair standing up on their cup person. They can use their friskars and give their person a hair cut.

you could do that thing where they make their own mini gardens on a tray..

using things from outisde/ inside the house..

e.g a little foil dish or something with water in it could be a pond.. a hand full of grass could be the lawn..
