What are some good store or business ideas for a small town.?

A little about our town:

We live in a small town that has a grocery store (winn dixie)

a video store, a clothing outlet mall right off the interstate,

maybe 6 convenience stores, an RV park, golf course,

a laundry mat....

Just trying to think of what would be a good small business to start.

Wondering if others are willings to share suggestions???

We thought about an arcade with with a small snack room inside of it also. Sell sodas and snacks at a few picnic tables inside and out.

i think, you can try overnight income business. it more simple, workable, profitable and no risk business. actually, your money will work for you, even while you sleep, and you get your first overnight income. your money grow daily.

arcade? there has to be kids around to make that work.

smalll retail store...you'll have to work there yourself to insure that you're not being ripped off by employees.

I'd suggest a laundry mat...esp. with an RV park nearby (but first check to see if they have one).

If you do the arcade thing, vending (snacks and drinks) machines are a natural fit.

I notice you didn't mention any place to get real food to eat. I always appreciate a good "hometown" type of restaurant. Especially when I am traveling. Keep the place and the food clean, and advertise this point. A smaller version of this might be one of those hot dog and/or barbeque stand kind of places you see here and there. You see a lot of hot dog carts in New York, and many other places, and you can make good money in volume off of an interstate with that or a BBQ chicken/beef or whatever for the travelers, and even locals.
