What are some good styles for thick, short hair?? (pics)?

my hair is really thick, just above my shoulders and i have side bangs.

im planning on going to the salon tomorow, im getting my hair thinned but am not sure what a good style would be

Get layers, it thins the hair and still makes it look good.

Layers will only make you hair thicker. I got my hair really short when I was really young and I didn't know how to style it and i hated it. Keep the tips spiked and edgy;dont go soft with short hair.
