What are some good subwoofers and amps? that are cheap?

i need help picking out some amps and subwoofers for a car and maybe speakers

Sub? Alpine Type R.

Cadence is a good choice for inexpensive amplifiers, check their website for discontinued models.  Also check ebay for loads of deals on last years Kicker amplifiers.  As for sub woofers, Mach5Audio is way up there in the performance per dollar ratio.

A good sub for cheap PRICE is the Alpine Type-R.

This sub comes in 10", 12" and 15". I have heard them all off the same 500RMS, the 12" roasted the 10 and 15.

10" is 500RMS

12" is 500RMS

15" is 750RMS

All DUAL VOICE COIL 2 or 4-ohm.

They don't need MASSIVE boxes and a HUGE amount of power. Alpine makes two amps I think that put out 500RMS and a one at 1000RMS @ 2-ohm but 500RMS at 4-ohm so you make a few possibilities for running one Type-R or even two!

Speakers:

There are Alpine Type-S speakers which are one step under the R version and sound great. They are cheaper that the R speakers and still sound good. Check them out!
