What are some good summer jobs to apply for as a recent high school graduate in San Jose CA?

Depends on what you're interested in. I'm still in high school but I've found a great use of SnagAJob.com     You can look up local places that are hiring and (after you create an account) apply there. It usually says the minimum age and requirements. Easy application process. The only problem for you, though, might be that since summer just started, everyone is going to be looking for a job so it might be a while before you get a response. Good luck :D
