What are some good super easy bean recipes?

any beans, just need to work them into my diet more! heres my favorite:

blend 1 can black beans (drained) with 1/2 c. salsa and 3/4 c. vegetable boullion and some cumin to taste. heat and serve with sour cream!

  1. You can make a great vegan chili by following almost any chili recipe.

    Just eliminate the meat or use a ground vegan substitute.


  2. I like black beans on yellow saffron rice with chopped tomatoes and onions.  I just had it for lunch.

  3. A can of cannellini beans

    a jar of Thai green curry sauce

    frozen pastry

    Roll out the pastry,and line a tin add the beans , add other chopped and stir fried veg if desired. Pour over the Thai sauce and top with a pastry top and put into the oven Gas Mark 5 until the pastry is golden.

    Drain a tin of beans (any kind) and mash with a fork or masher until smooth. Add salt, black pepper, cummin to taste - sshape into patties coat with egg and flour and fry gently. Serve with saute potatoes and green veg  and add salsa as a relish.

  4. Drain & rinse a can of black beans set aside.. cook up  a pot of brown rice, stir in a can of diced tomatoes with chiles, a couple cloves of minced garlic, some salt and pepper and the beans.. let cook for a few until hot... I like mine with some cheese sprinkled on top.

  7. your can make any type of bean dip you want. There are endless possibilities , It sounds like you have the right Idea. When I cook beans I do a giamt pot then freeze them and add them to soups and salads.



  8. Southwestern Bean and Rice Salad:

    4 cups cooked rice

    1 can rinsed and drained black beans

    1 can whole kernal corn, drained 1/2 cup mayo

    1 cup salsa

    1/2 cup chopped cilantro

    salt and pepper to taste

    mix and chill- great with BBQ or Mexican foods.  

  9. We always keep this made up in the fridge;

    1 can black beans

    1 can black eyed peas

    1 can kidney beans

    1 can chickpeas

    1 jar salsa

    lots of cumin

    Mix all together and keep in fridge.  We add a cup of this to all sorts of things.  Canned soup, rice, cottage cheese, omelets, on chips.......
