  1. By expecting the worst, you can prepare for the worst. Pessimists are not as gullible into believing offers that are "too good to be true". Pessimism might help someone be more cautious.

For example, I'm not going to bungee jump off of a low bridge because I would probably get hurt... the pessimist believes probability of the negative outcome is higher than the probability of the positive outcome, therefore they'd choose not to take the risk.

  2. I would give you a good answer but everyone will give me a thumbs down anyway !!!!

  3. You are rarely disappointed.

You are usually prepared for the worst.

If you are wrong about something it's a pleasant surprise.

  4. You're not giving yourself false hopes I suppose.

  5. You're never disappointed.

  6. The grass is always greener somewhere else.

  7. You're seldom disappointed, because you always expect the worst to happen anyway.

  8. aim low and avoid dissapointments...i can probably tell you from personal experiences that is why some people are like that.. they lost hope or something valuable hit them really hard in a bad way....pessimists live reality...

  9. Be glad u only need em for a report.

The good thing is that as a pessimist, u can be lazy.
