What are some good things to bring to France with you?

I am going to Paris, France for two weeks and I know I have to bring clothes and stuff you need like a toothbrush, like an ipod...or like something that could really help you when you are there.

If you're not fluent, bring a translator, a conversion guide for money/measurements, maybe a travel book or map.
