What are some good tips for getting more sleep?

I cant seem to get any sleep even tho im tired so is there anything i could do to help me get more sleep and get to sleep quicker?

  1. Try reading a boring book, drink warm milk before you go to bed and do some exercises so that you feel tired. From http://nosleep.in


  2. if you do exercise, don't do it before bed. No caffeine after like 6:00. try a glass of warm milk before you try to sleep and don't eat anything heavy after like 8:00

  3. exercise for at least a half hour to an hour a day.  

  4. getting 4-5-6 hours a night of sleep is fine if thats what you are getting, the whole 8 hours thing is a myth, people who get 4-5-6 hours of sleep are generally healthier and live longer, and really the best way to be able to fall asleep earlier is to just wake up early and get into that kinda cycle, even pull an all nighter so you fall asleep early and wake up early and just try to keep that schedule

  5. Natural remedies include warm milk, melatonin, valerian, 5-HTP and others that you can find in a web search for "natural sleep remedies".
