I'm a sophomore this year and I want to have fun and get involved but still maintain my grades. I have some tough classes like honors chemistry and AP Human Geography and European History.

  1. homework first, then party.

  2. i have the same problem [i am also a sophomore with honors/AP classes]

i think it is just about knowing your limits

if you feel like you can handle all of it, then i say go for it

it's always good to challenge yourself

  3. I was a sophomore last year.

Dont get behind in homework, and don't wait the last minute to do projects. Stay focus, and keep a good outlook to your future.

    And... be yourself.

  4. It's all about time management: it does wonders for both your social and academic life. Choose what clubs you want to get involved with wisely, and be sure to get your homework done FIRST before anything else.

And get the recommended eight hours of sleep a night.

  5. Compare with last year. Was there enough time to do what you wanted? Were you bored with not enough to do? Get involved with things that don't require all your extra time like a heavy-duty sports program. Try a club and wait for some opportunities to volunteer. That way, you'll make sure you have enough time for homework and you'll still get to meet people & do some extra things. Next year, if you do well with this plan, you can add yet more stuff. Once you make a bunch of commitments, you may overload yourself and be sorry. So go easy this year.

  6. Don't have your period in gym class ._.

  7. do your work seriously so you wont have to study as much

study every day so you dont have to cram

you shouldn't worry about being popular or anything that wont play a role in your future

  8. High school or college?

I'm a sophomore in high school. I'm taking some very tough classes (a couple college classes, chemistry and algebra 2 a year early, etc.) and I have a few tips. =)

    1. Make a good impression on the teacher. Don't mess around with friends on the first days, get a good reputation first.

    2. Don't be tardy to class or with work. Get all of your homework completed and turned in on time.

    =) Good luck! ♥
