What are some good tips on making a good blog so people will comment your posts? No person wants to comment mine!!

One sure way is to Blog about things that are different or odd. Even things of current events.

But, you need to visit other people's page and comment on their Blog. This will help, even if these other people are not on your friends list.

Set your Blog as a RSS feed ( in your settings) and this will show up on your friends home page. Make the Title really shout out. And this also will show up if you have your settings to public.

Blog about things some of your friends seem interested in, even if it is a cooking Blog. It works for me.

Getting a lot of comments is not necessarily a good thing. Write about something really controversial on a hot issue that's current in the news, and I'm sure you'll get a lot of comments.

You also have to measure the comments vs. the visitors. If you've got 0 comments and 10 visitors, there's not enough data yet. But if we're talking 0 comments from 10000 visitors, then then you can safely assume that what you've written thus far is not comment-worthy.

Which leads to the next question... are we talking about blogging on Yahoo 360, since that's the category we're in. If you're blogging on a site that hosts blogs, then your options in coming up with strategies will be limited. If, on the other hand, you've installed blogging software (WordPress, perhaps) on your own server (free or paid), then you have some helpful tools at your disposal. Put Google Analytics on your site ASAP, so that you can track not only the quantity of your visitors, but where they came from, how long they're staying, which pages they're reading, etc. That will help decide on your goals for new writing.
