if you have comcast get all those channellsss taken offf.. i just did it because my bill was through the roof

The best thing you can do is call up the customer service number, select the option for "Cancel my account" and talk to the customer service rep.  Tell them you are going to switch to the dish and they will lower your rate or give you some things on your account for free.  They will keep dropping the price lower and lower until you either give in or tell them you are going to switch no matter what.  Found this out when I really did switch to the dish and the cable company offered to cut my bill in half!!!

Limit the time you watch tv.  They only charge you the time you tv is on.
