  1. start out with some plyometrics. find a routine that works for you. you'll need to start conditioning from now. i don't know your eating habits, but get your metabolism to speed up. eat a little more frequent. smaller portions. once you get lighter, you can jump higher.

hitting the v-ball against the wall works. just make sure you are hitting the ball at it's peak and yours. hope this helps.

  2. depends on what you are

  3. for your vertical, do things in the gym such as squats. you can also do calf-raises anywhere to build muscles in your legs. another great, easy way to build leg muscles is jump-roping.

and for your arm-swing, i suggest dumbbell curls or push-ups. they will give you strength to swing harder.

    hope it helps =]

  4. try working on your thigh muscles... try working your heels... do a lot of squads... try jumping as high as you can for at least ten minutes everyday....

  5. i play middle hitter too. Ways to your arm swing is to take a volleyball and toss it up hitting it against the wall. Just make sure you snap your wrist over the ball so it puts a spin on the ball. Jumping higher is just something you have to work at im a lefty so i use a three step approach but when you take your 2nd step(lefty) or third step(righty) make sure you get your body low and your arms swung back behind you to give you some extra lift. hope i helped

  6. ask your coach.. he will help you
