  1. sit in front of the class

    join clubs

    and play sports

    they keep you in focus

    don't waste time

    friends are great

    but not a priority

and of course do your homework

    respect your techers

    you got it

    I'm a senior

  2. Pay attention in class and sit in the front row. Don't talk or pass notes and take good notes. Do your homework the day it's given so you can have the weekend to relax and watch precious T.V.

For tests, read, read and read again. And, make flash cards for study guides. Read your flashcards forward and back; which means, not only should you know the answer from looking at the question, but read the answer and then know the question. Study a lot the day before the test (all day long) and get good sleep.

Then the day of the test, review your cards again. It's called a brain dump. You'll know the answers since you just read it and retain it long enough so when you see the question, it'll still be fresh.

Don't over-study either. That'll just be boring and everything will mesh together.

    Then repeat throughout the semester.

School is easy if you actually participate.

    Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. i am also going into 10th grade....

    whoo..anyway

all you have to do is keep your head down and work at your grades. It will come easy to you if you concentrate.

If friends etc. try to distracte you in lessons when you are struggling, either ignore them or ask them to wait a second because you are just listening...

Take notes. If there is anyything you think will come up in a test, jot it down in the back of a exercise book or something.

Always revise before a test! Look over your notes etc because they WILL help you!

And dont cram all your revision into one time, spread it out and if it helps, make a time table for when you are goign to revise what, even put in when you will have breaks to eat etc...

Hope you have a good year in 10th.

    Loves.

    Takes Care xoxo
