I want more money, and I think I would like to do something over the summer to make money, but what could a 13 yr old do? No lemonade stands or anything, I might want to do something with dogs, but i'm not sure. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

(I didn't know what category to put this under so I let yahoo pick it for me.)

  1. well how about lawn mowing..juss go around your neighborhood and ask if they want any help over the summer..lik anything around the house..be careful though...im 13 too.. and i started asking my neighbors lik 2 weeks ago and now i am making so much money that im failing school...i used to be a B student about 2 weeks ago and no im a D and F student..but schools almost over..try it and see what happens...

p.s. dont get carried over lik i did..

  2. There are plenty of things, mow lawns, walk dogs, bathe dogs, Take care of animals while owners are away, yard cleanup...including debris and p**p.

I would go door to door or send out flyers stating you are looking for some extra money this summer and if they needed any help, to call you...I am sure that will bring you some work.

  3. Babysitting is the best thing in the summer:) Kids are off of school but the parents still have to work, so they need babysitters.

For dogs, you could walk dogs around the block for a few dollars, or collect cans and turn them in for money then use the money to buy things for a humane society ( keep like 20% of the profit ). me and my friend did that a like a year ago, we went around my block every friday for about 45 minutes, then turned the cans in and bought some stuff. We made like 20$ every week because so many people participated because we were so organized.

  4. Baby sit kids in your area.

    I charge $10 for 1 kid

I charge an extra $5 for 2 or more kids.

  5. You could try being a caddy at your local golf course. My friends that do it get paid well, it can be hard at times for a 13 year old I can imagine with rounds of golfing being 3-4+ hours long but it's worth it.

  6. A SIMPLE SOLUTION - TRY THIS SITE, they pau you for doing surveys...you have to be 13 which you are... its NOT a scam.

you could easily earn $60 a week, and it works whether your in the USA, UK, and in some other countries.

    hope this helped

  7. My father taught me how to mow the lawn when I was like 12... I'm a girl- but still, I went around and mowed lawns- depending on the size- you can easily get a good $10 per lawn... which honestly- adds up really quick- because it only takes about 10 minutes or so to cut a lawn (or at least the ones in my neighborhood.)

Try dog walking- it may not be quite as good of an idea- because its summertime- so a lot of people will be home and able to walk their dogs themselves, and they may not want to let someone they don't know take their dog (some people see their animals as children- ya know?)

I'd say try a car wash kind of thing (I did this on my street once- made a good amount of $$)

You can even try a dog wash-- sounds stupid- but they had one of these at my college (I was going to a college to be a vet) but it was a fund raiser and it helped raise a lot of money!!! People want their dogs smelling fresh and clean- and its entertaining to wash some dogs...

I'm sure you'll get some really good ideas- I just threw a few ideas that I've used...

    Hopefully something works!! Good luck!

  8. There is a summer challenge about making money online. It is from 1st August to 1st September. The pre-season is going from 1st June, so it's on the run!
