What are some good ways to earn money abroad?

i'd like to travel and spend a few months in a few different places...what jobs work well for this?

Be willing to do any kind of grunt job -  there a signs stuck in windows all of the place,  if you tell the owner you may only be around for a few week etc,  you could still do it and learn so much.  Sweep floors in a restaurant, move furniture, pack boxes in a warehouse, anything that could be temporary but will help out ..just look for the places that post a help wanted sign that may be ok with a few weeks of work  (and are ok with cash payments).  Hit up restaurants, markets, anything that may not appeal to someone looking for long term employment -  those are the places that will take you on to earn some money for a short period.

cruise ship jobs. do you have a degree? japan and many other asian countries are always looking for people to teach English, some only require an english instructed degree. working on ski slopes aswell.

Teach English at local school.  You'll get the respect, enough pay to survie 2-3 months then move on to the next place and do the same thing.
