What are some good ways to entertain two girls when baby sitting. There ages are 9 and 11.?

Last time when I babysat them ( which was the first time ) they watched t.v all day. They were pretty easy going on things to do like I got them outside to play softball and we played video games a bit. But they got bored easily and then they just went back to watching t.v. I am not sure what to do with them. Can anyone please help me?

You could write letters to eachother and tell them "not to open them for 2 years". But remind them only nice things, please

You could write their names in a fun ways like bubble or block letters and have them color them as signs for their rooms or something

Ask them what they like to do with their friends or ask them about their rooms, sports, school, ect

Play dress up....paint nails, arts and crafts.

paint their nails, do some new funkey hair styles and teach them how to do some new hair for school days. they will love your input on whats cool and whats not. you can even go through their closets and help them put together some outfits they would have never thought of. they will love this , i know my girls would.
