What are some good ways to get better at drums?

I have been playing drum set since September of 2007 and I am fairly decent, but I still have much room for improvement. If anybody knows of any books I can buy that have lots of different types of drum set rhythms, styles, etc., then please let me know :)

A good instructor would make you better definitely for sure, but try popping some of your favorite music into your player and jamming along with headphones.  Also, when you're watching TV play along with the commercials with your hands and feet.

Maybe find a personal teacher to give lessons bi-weekly. Allowing a period of time inbetween gives you time to accomplish the rhythms given to you, the lessons. If there are any musicians you like try playing what they play by listening to them. I hope it helps a bit.
