What are some good ways to get rid of a cold?

I have been taking sudafed, but it's not helping me at all. I have a fever, stuffy nose, sneezing, coughing, and occasionally I get dizzy and fall. Help?

  1. Getting dizzy enough to fall signifies a little more than a cold. You probably have a sinus infection, so go to a doctor and he will prescribe some antibiotics to make you feel better. :>


  2. Sudafed won't help you get over the cold, it will get rid of some symptoms for a little while but it isn't a fix. If you have a fever take some tylenol to get it down. They have a daytime cold tylenol that will help with your symptoms but you need rest to get over the cold.  

  3. unfortunately there is no good way of getting rid of the cold, you need to go to the doctor and get a steroid shot, a z-pack , and an antibiotic and i promise you will start feeling better by the next day...also if you dont already start taking a multi vitamin like centrum silver or the off brand of that.  this will help you immune system.
