  1. i will tell u from a girl point of view.

FIND OUT what she wants <~~ very important. wat you can do is make up ppl u saw or read that got proposed and how they did it and see what she says.or you can do these ideas... You can take her to the beach if you live close by and have friends or family write on the sand next to the board walk *NAME* WILL YOU MARRY ME? and then you bring her on the board walk and have her look down and when she turns around be on ur knees with the ring ready. Now if you dont like that you can also do this. If you both  have a dog or cat together get a shirt made that says mommy will you marry daddy? or something in that sense. those two are super super cute ideas. or if she likes chinese theres a website im not sure wats its called but i know there is where you can get fortune cookies made and have the inside say will you marry me and get chinese and switch the cookies or give her some that you can say you had left over. Proposing takes alot of work and make sure its special because she will forever remember how you did it, and it will be talked about from her friends when they ask and your kids as well. You don't want to have a proposal that she will always be sad or disappointed over. Make it special for her and do what you think she will want not wat you want. Hope this helps :) good luck and congratulations!

  2. Make it unique.  Make is as personal as possible.  For example, where was the first place you laid eyes on her (unless it was at a meat processing plant or undesirable place like that).  Does she have a favorite hobby?  Try and incorporate the hobby into the proposal.  The most important part is the element of surprise.  Ensure she is totally not expecting it.  Good luck!

  3. Make a video of your self propsing and pop it in while watching TV and having dinner one night....

Have someone (hire a dressed up doorman or ??) special hand deliver her a note asking to marry you as you stand there behind her.

    Wake her up one morning, drag her outside in jammies ans ask her as the sun rises :}

  4. Get yourself a picnic basket, some food, a bottle of champagne, and go to a beautiful park or somewhere overlooking a lake. Lay out the food, and put the ring in the glass and pour the champagne without her looking. If she doesn't see the ring, you say to her "hold on, there is something in your glass".

  5. if shes athletic or likes sports do it on the screen at games!

Have you seen stepmother with julia roberts? theres a clip in there where her boyfriend does it with a string in a ringbox its pretty cool check it out,

OR go to a beach for a sunset watch and write it in the sand.

i hope that gives you some ideas! OR while your parked ask if your wallets in the glove compartment and have the ring in there all by itself.

  6. a date in the most expensive hotel restaurant that overlooks the city. kb

  7. It can be very romantic without being a big production. In fact, "Will you marry me?" whether it's on the screen at a sporting event, written across the sky with a plane, or posted in huge signs on the side of the highway, is not the ultimate phrase I'd want to hear for a proposal.

I'd much rather a guy whispered in my ear, "Mara, there's nowhere else in the world I'd rather be than right here with you. I love you. It would be the greatest accomplishment of my life if I could persuade you to be my wife." (Or something to that general effect.) At that point he could pull out a ring and get down on one knee and say, "Will you marry me?" But the intimate prelude would make it over-the-top perfect.

P.S. If he did want to go all crazy, my preference would be a proposal in a hot air balloon.

  8. Make it personal, im not much of a girlie girl, a real tom boy, but i still thought about how i wanted to be proposed by my hubby to be.

Make it romantic and special. Ask her parents for their blessings (it will get back to her and she will love it even more).

You can be as elaborate or as simple as you want or can afford.

Put thought into what you will say - dont just pull out a ring and say "so how about it?"

A romantic picnic, read a small love poem, get down on one knee and spill your heart out.

Get friends and family involved - her friends may help with ideas

  9. Propose to her at sunrise or sunset

  10. I recently got engaged - my fiance made up a trail of clues for me to follow. He had some cards printed (don't know where from) but they gave me instructions to follow i.e. the first one was given to me at work by one of  my colleagues and it told me to go to the nearest mainline station where I had a thai meal on my birthday and once i got there i had to sms a certain number and i had 45 minutes. Turns out he had called up my manager and asked for the day off for me - and i had no idea!

Once i got there and sent the sms, my fiances sister came up from nowhere and gave me another clue. It had a train ticket enclosed and told me to use the train ticket to take me to a place i had not heard of before. When I got there i had to send another sms and my fiances good friend turned up, and drove me to a summit on a hill from which we could see the whole city, and I found my fiancee there where he proposed to me, but no ring! :-(

He then drove me out somewhere and took me on a helicopter along the river thames ( I live in London, UK) where he gave me a ring and we had champagne.

He then took me to a restaurant i have always wanted to go to but never had the chance and he booked a small live band to play there before dinner.

Then we had dinner, and as a final surprise, he gave me a huge canvas frame of the two of us with a border made up of of logos from all the restaurants we have been to, movies we have seen, and anything related to things we have done together.

I thought it was really creative and showed he had really put a lot of effort and thought into it. It depends what kind of person your girlfriend is but i thought the treasure trail idea was really good.

Depends what your budget is also, but you could take a weekend break somewhere she really wants to go, or go somewhere historic for example my friend got taken to Edinburgh castle which was really nice. I don't know if you have any places like that near you where you could take a day trip. Or a place of natural beauty?

  11. have someone use a marker and write out on your back in large letters WILL YOU MARRY ME? and tell your gf that you have a back ache and ask for a massage lol

yea kinda cheesy but cute and its late...i cant think

  12. I wanted my fiance to buy pumpkins and carve out the letters M-A-R-R-Y M-E? in them.  Well, he didn't do that.  He did propose at the pumpkin house (local attraction around Halloween that has thousands of carved, lit-up pumpkins).  I love pumpkins though.  :)  Just try to incorporate something that she likes and do try to make it very memorable... like, don't ask her when you're cuddling or watching a movie or out to eat... plan something that includes her interests.  If she wants a new kitten or puppy, buy her one and have the ring on a collar.  :)

  13. Keep it simple, if you try to throw too much effort into it, it'll seem too staged and be too obvious, if you're trying to keep it a surprise.

Go on a picnic, take her to the beach or a lake, up a mountain?

Or even in your favourite place if you have a one together.  The more personalised it is the more it will mean to her.

    Good luck!!
