What are some good ways to stay in shape and excercise during the winter months?

I play volleyball, but now that the season is over and it's getting colder outside, I need some new ways to stay in shape. I'd love to keep excercising throughtout the winter months, but I don't know what I can possibly do, once there is snow on the ground..I can't really afford to join any clubs. Ideas?

  1. well, you could go to an open gym and just play volleyball there. get some of your friends to go with you. it's a great way to exercise and have fun. i live in arizona so it's kinda good volleyball weather in the winter so i can't really give you anymore tips. sorry!


  2. If you have personal small gym at home its good otherwise you can try yoga regularly. This will not only keep you in shape but will also reward you with fitness from any chronic or any other diseases....

  3. I personally love snow running it is a great form of exercise.  A YWCA would be cheap but if you are looking for free your going to most likely be cold and just get out there.  You may have one friend that is willing to do it with you too.

  4. I usually go skiing or snowboarding in the winter you can can go somewhare like colorado or canada or maybe you have some ski mountains not far from where you live, but if you wanna be inside to gymnastics or poms maybe you could also do basketball

  5. try yoga

  6. walk or run on your treadmill
