  1. Epic of Gilgamesh

  2. Fahrenheit 451

    Great Gatsby

    Gulliver's Travels

    Paradise Lost

    Grapes Of Wrath

    To Kill A Mockingbird

    To name a few.

    Good luck!!!!

  3. Don Quixote, by Cervantes

    Les Miserables, by Hugo

    Bleak House, by Dickens

The Arabian Nights, by various anonymous authors

I Am a Cat, by Souseki

    The Divine Comedy, by Alighieri

...obviously just to name a few. If you prefer one genre over another (say, you like romances better than comedies) then you can search for stories of that type. Many publishers like Oxford World Classics only print classic world literature, which would make it easier for you to pick out stories that fit your criteria.

  4. Odessy

    Iliad

    Of Men and Mice

    A Separate Piece

    Catcher in the Rye

    1984

    Animal Farm

  5. My favorite is "Gone With The Wind" - a true classic, to be sure.

"War & Peace" is supposed to be good, but I honestly have never read it so I can't really speak intelligently on this book.

Have a lovely rest of the evening.

  6. The Giver

    Catch 22

    Catcher in The rye

    The Princess Bride

    Gone With The Wind

    Uncle Tom's Cabin

    Common Sense

BTW I noticed that someone mentioned Animal Farm and I am not trying to start and argument but am merely stating my opinion...I think that Animal Farm and Lord of the Flies promotes violence. Another book that is considered a classic is Jonathon Livingston seagull but I found it to boring for me.
