What are some great bands like Nirvana?

Nirvana is my favorite band.

I love all the grunge bands..but i often forget their names until i hear them again..what are some bands like nirvana?

are there any NEW grunge bands that are good?

btw..i live across from seattle by ferry so i've been into the grunge since i was a kid. any suggestions welcome and thank you =)

Nirvana, tricky, they're amazing and barely anything can really be close.

Queens Of The Stone Age ?

Foo Fighters - They should work for you, David Grohl is the lead singer (He played drums for Nirvana)

I don't know to be honest. I don't listen to much grunge, other than Nirvana, because most new grunge isn't very good.

All from the "Seattle Scene". And no, I haven't heard any good new grunge bands. The big thing here in seattle right now is Math Rock and Art Rock.

Alice In Chains were the best band out of Seattle. I like Nirvana a lot, but Kurt's voice doesn't compare to that of Layne Staley.
