  1. Princess, Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Holland America, Norwegian, Disney are all good cruise lines.  To some extent, it depends on your age, interests and what you are looking for in a cruise.  Same with your ideal destination.  For a first time cruise, a cruise to the Caribbean is a good choice.  Best advice is to find a good travel agent, do some research on the 'net, your local library or all of the above.

  2. I have only been on 2 cruise 1st one on princess... and it was wonderful it had and elegant feel to it...

The 2nd on was on carnival I loved that one too the feel was different but I had just as good a time...

When I'm asked about both lines I tell them that Its like comparing apples to oranges.... but since I love both apples and oranges I'll take either!!

And as far as my ideal destination I would have to say the Caribbean... I just love the palm/coconut trees, white sand and crystal blue waters.....

  3. Out of about 10 cruises, 20+ excursions, the best excursion yet was the one yet was the Mayan Zip Line in Calica, Mexico.

  4. My favorite is Royal Caribbean. I went on their new ship Freedom of the Seas. It is huge. Ther is so much to do its not even funny. The food is great also. The ship does the western caribbean. Very fun time. Check out their website Royal Caribbean.com. Oh by the way you can surf on the top deck in the wave runner pool. Totally cool. Good luck

  5. If you prefer a larger ship and are comfortable with a certain level of sophistication, Crystal Cruises is the best line, by far.  Service and cuisine are outstanding and you are treated as a valued guest, not a member of the herd.

Personally, I like the smaller, more intimate ships, like Silversea.  Approximately 350 guests, all inclusive, no tipping.  Younger, worldly crowd and excellent shore excursions.

  6. I've been on 2 and have another one booked for Sept

I prefer Carnival, and any destination is fine by me, I'm there mostly for the ship and to be pampered, and that is what you get. the best time to go is Sept - Dec, it is cheaper and the weather is like summer for most.
