We are having over about 4-5 little boys for my son's 3rd birthday party. It will be a pool party with lemonade in a big bubba keg. The theme is Spider Man with little treat bags for all kids. I'm looking for some meal ideas that I can make for the event. I want to avoid the typical pizza or hot dogs and try to have something at least somewhat healthy. I will do a fruit tray but want something for the main meal. Ideas please?

  1. they are 3, whats wrong with hot dogs? I dont think a hot dog ever hurt a 3 year old, but maybe instead you could do like a rotisserie chicken, or kids love chicken legs, your fruit platter and maybe some veggies with dip, or a salad

  2. think finger foods mac and cheese hot dogs, bagels bites, chicken nuggets, since it is during the summer and you are going to have adults there make it easy and just bbq hot dogs and hamburgers. just call them spider dogs or some thing. good luck

  3. I agree with Baby # 1. Hot dogs are the best way to go. But if not like meatballs are good to for the adults and kids. Its simple just get a crockpot and simmer them all day in sause and your set.

  4. wal-mart has some sub sandwiches in their deli section for only $5.00 and they are big. We have done that the last 2 parties we had. They are a quick, cheap, yummy idea. They have a few different types to choose from.

  5. what little boy doesnt love sloppy joe? Its easy and you can just put it in a crockpot. Thats what I did for my son

  6. strawberry and chocolate mixed together
