  1. The first thing you have to look at when buying PC games is your specs. The two main components are your graphics card and your processor.

I wouldn't recommend getting Team Fortress 2, which is a pity seeing that it's such a great game. But it's minimum settings require 1.7 GHz processor. While it may not seem like a big difference between 1.6 and 1.7 GHz, the lack of a stand-alone graphics card will most likely mean your computer will chug or not even allow it to run. This is the case when I bought Battlefield 2 for an older PC of mine. The slow processor and integrated graphics meant I could install it buy not play it.

If you want a site to check whether or not your computer can actually run the game, go to http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/ref...

Make sure you allow the installation of its plugin. It's extremely useful and will tell you on a scale where your PC falls.

As to games based on your current setup, I recommend most Sims games. Counterstrike if you're into the online FPS environment. There's a Counterstrike bundle you can buy with CS: Source, Day of Defeat: Source, and Half-Life 2 deathmatch for $19.99. Halo for PC is still extremely fun for an extremely cheap price.

As for newer games, try Sins of a Solar Empire, The Witcher, some of the later Age of Empires, or even Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind.

Sorry if this was not the best of help

  2. The sims 2! Answer my Questions!

  3. Half life is a beast, so I don't know about that. Check out games you're interested in and see if the game requirements are low enough.

As far as older games though, I'd recommend Red Faction, Soldier of Fortune 2.... Actually your system might be able to handle Team Fortress 2. That's fun, but online only.

  4. - Hidden and Dangerous II (and expansion)

    - Aliens vs Predator 2

    - NBA Hangtime

    - Trackmania

    - Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory

    - Doom

    - UT2004

    - Red Orchestra

  5. medal of honor allied assault ,spearhead

  6. day of defeat, counter strike
