What are some great places to get skating dresses? NOT web sites please?

Well I need something in Oregon near Portland and it should be for people who get their first dress. I would kind of like some place that sells kind of cheap dresses but Unique.... This is not for ice skating

You can try dance stores. and if you hear of any competitions that are happening locally try looking there as often they sell them second hand but in very good condition. Most dresses you will only see once as there are so many of them around. you can have them made for not much money in some places to. good luck :-)

Sometimes, when they have skating competitions, there are usually a lot of skating dresses.

I don't know Portland specifically, but if you can bear a vague answer - the place to get ice skating dresses in person are pro shops, which are mostly located at ice rinks.  So check your local ice rink.

If it's not for skating, and you don't need the extra warmth of an ice skating dress, you can find really similar leotards with skirts at dance shops and even at stores like Target.  

A typical skating dress runs you $65 and up.
