I am looking for some great restuarant in Edmonton. They don't need to be expensive or totally posh. Just fantastic atmosphere, great service and good food

  1. Lazias (Fusion)

Japanese Village (Japanese) Its really cool if you can get a seat upstairs!

    Joey's (south common or mayfield)

    Mikado

  2. My current favorites are: Ric's Grill Downtown, The Copper Pot, and Chop. Good food & service whenever I've been to them... both seem hard to come by these days. Moxie's Southside used to be ok, but I haven't been there in a while.

  3. Lots of good suggestions so far... I'd add:

    - IL Portico -  fabulous food and a great atmosphere

    - The King and I - it's been a while since I've been there, but it had amazing food

    - Sicilian Pasta Kitchen - weather permitting, hit the patio. If you like spicy seafood, have the Diavlo (?) dish.

    and my absolute fave

    - Urban Diner 12427 - 102 Ave. Terrific atmosphere and food to die for (seriously good breakfast/brunch, but also good lunches and dinners)

I hope this helps - happy eating!

  4. Tony's Pizza has the best New York style thin crust pizza in town

Highlevel Dinner has good food and nice atmosphere for a date

Vis for Pies is a cute spot for a lunch or a desert

Grub Med has a weird name but fantastic Greek Food

Homefire Grill has a really interesting menu and good food for dinner.  You can watch the chefs prepare your meal

Yokozuna and Mikados has the best Sushi in town
