What are some great scuba diving destinations in or around the U.S.?

Ex: Hawaii, all those islands, etc. \

I am SSI certified and would like to go diving with 3-6 other people!

I like Devil's Den in Cheifland Fl, not as brilliant as other places, but it's a nice spring dive.

I've dove Ca. Fl. BVI, Bahamas, Costa Rica, my fav is Mexico, http://gomanzanillo.com/scubamex/index.h...   lots more  colorful fish than the other places & the water is warm

This would qualify as "around" the U.S.:  God's Pocket Resort in British Columbia.  If you like shipwrecks, there are several in Nanaimo, B.C.  Otherwise I'd recommend diving Puget Sound or San Juan Islands--lots of diversity here.  Note that it's all cold water diving but who cares, you wear a drysuit and it's all good!
