What are some great ways of building self-esteem?

I need some Huge ideas for me that can really help me out because I don't even know how to start let alone what to do.

  1. yea, find a project or talent that you are good at. It's there u have to explore to find it. Tell yourself you are worthy. Because you are! There is a great plan for you just waiting to unfold. If you pray or read the Bible just scan thru and you will know how wonderfully made you are.

    When I feel down I dye my hair different, get a new style, put on make up differently and it helps me to get a fresh start. That sounds silly , i am 52, but i like to do new things. You are very brave for just asking that question. Hold your head high, you are somebody special.

    Another idea is visit an assisted living, visit someone that is lonely,(all of them are) It will make you feel needed and loved. Do it for the sake that you were born to love and be loved in return. You will find a way!


  2. first of all, step up and claim your confidence. that's what confident people do. secondly, to help you bolster your confidence, start out with some projects that you know you can succeed at. then gradually go on to more difficult things. Each time you succeed at something, you will be more able to feel confidence. This is the trick to it! and I know you can do it!

  4. I'm just a naturally confident person but If I ever do start feeling a little bit down what I like to do is change something. sometimes I rearrange my room or cut my hair or something like that. If you do the room thing you feel really organized and start making goals that you probably won't ever keep, but if you make enough of them you might without even noticing. If you cut your hair or something people at school will notice and it feels really great getting attention once in a while. Or another thing I do is like if you feel fat or something you find someone who's fatter than you and think how much skinnier you are compared to them. I know that is a really horrible thing to do but no one ever has to know and you can feel sorry about it and better about yourself at the same time.
