there are lots of options and you can find what you will love.

edit - anything with grains and beans will fill you up and give you all the healthy stuff you needs.

  2. Anything with seitan, tempeh, beans, or whole grains is filling and generally healthy.  I highly recommend checking out VegWeb.com for recipes.

  3. protein is filling.... you could make a veggie chili, beans and veggies over brown rice, a veggie burger wtih sweet potato fries, stirfry with lots of mushrooms and tofu/beans, veggie sausage pattys on whole grain bagel, peanut butter on whole grain toast.... basically add in protein to wahtever you eating and if you like the soy "meats" they are a great way to add protein but you don't have to use them.

  4. get soy its really good

  5. Just a few ideas...

Fried rice-Rice can be very filling, and you can add all sorts of veggies and any type of Asian sauce

Wraps-Whatever you feel like putting in a tortilla can be a tasty meal, try your favorite cheese with a variety of veggies like tomatoes, avocados, cucumbers, etc. You could also fill them with rice and beans for burritos.

Alfredo-I like to buy noodles and a quick sauce mix. Then I broil some bread with butter and garlic salt on it to go with it.

Grilled cheese sandwiches-Add a variety of your favorite cheese, and to make it more interesting, try some veggies on it, or even thinly sliced pear or apple.

  6. Vegetable and bean soups.  Here's an easy one to try.

    Ingredients:

    .5 Cup(s) Frozen Sweet Corn

15 Ounce(s) Beans, pinto or black

    2  Cup(s) Vegetable Broth

    1 Cup(s) Salsa

    1/4 Cup(s) Green

2 Medium Avocados, raw, all commercial varieties

2 Ounce(s) Tortilla chips, low fat, baked without fat

    Instructions:

Place the broth, beans, salsa, corn, and green onions in a medium saucepan. Cook over low heat for 10 minutes to blend flavors.

Place 1/2 cup of chips and 1/4 cup of avocado in each of four bowls. Ladle the soup over the chips and avocado and serve immediately.
