She will like something for one or two days, then dump it on the floor and refuse to eat. I try buying her different things but she ends up wasting it. I'm at wits end because I don't want her to be a skeleton but it's also costing us a lot of money because of all the food she's wasting.

  1. Feed her what you eat. If she is hungry she will eat trust me.

  2. these feeders are awesome for your daughters age, you can put anything in them, fruit, veggies(switch your variety often for your picky eater) and you can buy them fresh ( which is cheaper than the packaged foods ) also try pediatric drinks like pediasure or a more generic brand from parents choice....they contain all the nutrition that she may be missing during the day.....

  3. gerber graduates are made especially for kids her age and come in all different tastes flavors and kinds of food types such as:

little munchies(like a baby version of a cheetoh)

    yougurt bites

and gerber graduate meals the have raviolis, chicken sticks, turkey sticks, chicken stew, ect.

also my borther is 18 months and he loves:

    mashed potatoes

    fruit snacks

    yogos

    yogurt

    bannanas

    watermelon

    blueberrys

    pancakes

    waffles

    rasberrys

    strawberrys

    apples (in little bites)

but watch out for chocolate, sugar, and black berrys

bc there diaper and there stomach will be hetic

  4. Little ones waste allot of food - sorry that's just the plain truth. Don't give her portions that are any bigger than 2 or 3 mouth fulls and only put 1 food item on her plate at a time. If you are making the food yourself set aside a small portion before you season it as well - that little baby has very sensitive taste buds and even mild seasoning to an adult can be overpowering to a child. Other than that fruits and cereals are always good stand bye's

  5. If she gets hungry enough she'll eat it.

  6. well if she is not eating-- i would simply give her anything that she WILL eat-- even if its not the healthiest thing? you know?

im not saying give her cookies all day long--

but just something-- so you know she is eating : )

    Good luck hon!

  7. Talk to her pediatrician or just buy baby food but a different brand each time. They should all cost the same amount and not a lot. But I recommend you talk to her pediatrician.

  8. try some plain pasta or foods that have a lot of substance to fill her up.  Maybe even drink suppliments if their not getting the proper nutrition they need at that age

  9. Now is not the time to worry about healthy.  Everything that isn't toxic is healthy.  Worry about her diet in a few months, just feed her whatever she will actually eat.  And smack her hand when she dumps food on the floor, otherwise she'll keep doing it just to watch you clean it up.

  10. food waster, if she doesn't eat food don't give her, other people need that food, like hobos or people in war/poor countries

  11. I remember having this same situation with my daughter, and the Doctor said that they go through phases where they eat or don't eat . It's not really the food we give them, it's how they are . Anything is good for baby as long as it's not a chokeing hazzard, or to rich or spiced up .

  12. Baked potato (scoop out the insides and mash them up), soups - healthier kind with less sodium or homemade.
