What are some healthy meals?

I'm vegetarian.

I want some healthy meals that are easy to make, and don't take alot of time.

Breakfast

Snack

Lunch

Dinner

Snack.

I'm starting a new healthy lifestyle, not a diet.

I want to lose 16 pounds in 6 weeks and keep it off.

So, also if you have any good excersizes, that would be great ♥ thanks.

  1. For dinner this will help.  Buy a bag of Mahatma brown rice (2% fat, no saturated). Cook it according to the instructions (45 minutes).  In a large bowl mix the following: 1 - 15oz can black beans, 1 - 15 oz can red kidney beans, 1 small can of tomato sauce, one small jar of hot salsa.  Strain the liquid from the beans first and then mix everything but the rice together and heat it.  When the rice is ready mix it with the other ingredients.  You will have a tasty, vegetarian concoction that will feed you for 3 or 4 days.

    For breakfast eat a cereal that has a maximum of 2% fat with no trans fat and no cholesterol.  Use non fat milk with it and artificial sweetener if you need it.

    For lunch eat fresh fruit of your choosing.

    For snacking eat a few Nabisco or similar no fat soda crackers.

    Another dinner would be a salad with no fat dressing and steamed vegetables, either fresh or frozen.

    I lost 20 pounds in 7 weeks but who really knows how it will work for you.  

    The best and easiest exercising is walking.
