  1. Pasta

  2. a wheat bagel with peanut butter on top.  and a banana with some chocolate milk is perfect.

  3. eat carbs such as pasta and bread the night before but on the day of the try outs eat protein. the carbs the night before are stored as energy which is good and the protein will help you keep your energy up all day. Pasta is the pest for carbs and eggs are an excellent source of protein

  4. I'd keep the food light. Nothing too heavy because you might get sick. Have carbs the night before like a pasta dish. The day of the try out make sure to drink lots of water. Have fruit and maybe some sugar like a power bar. Keep it simple.

  5. Bananas are amazingly powerful.

also, you could try one of the many kinds of energy bars that are produced. Just don't eat RIGHT BEFORE you go on; leave at least a few minutes between eating and playing Plus be sure do drink lots of water with whatever you decide to eat.

  6. Maybe something as simple as a powerbar.  They are packed with a good amount of protein and carbs and won't fill you up.

  7. ive heard that snickers are good. they have protein sugars carbs and calories. my football coach recommended those to power bars.

  8. apples and alot of water

  9. The night before eat lots of pasta and grains.  Meat is great too, it will stick with you.  That morning you can eat bagels or eggs for protein and carbs.  Yogurt is great because of the protein it gives you.  Right before tryouts try Welch's fruit snacks for some quick energy.  Drink lots of water and also energy drinks such as gatorade.

  10. things to eat:

fruit, veggies, pasta, potatoes, cereal, bread, bagels, gatorade, lean meats, milk...

    things to avoid:

donuts, fried eggs, bacon, soda, pastries, coffee, fried potatoes, sausage, fast food, stead, chicken wings, alfredo sauce, subs, calzones, burgers, cream sauce, anything fried

    hope this helps
