What are some hockey superstitiouns you have?

-I can't wear my Winter Classic Crosby jersey during a game or else someone will get hurt.

-During important games I HAVE to wear my Conklin shirt. (I've worn it for 35 game sitting at home or at the arena and it's 35-0....never lost a game)

-I have to sit in the same spot on my couch and my dad has to sit right beside me.

Sometimes I have to watch the Habs games on the French channel... just cuz they seem to play better.

Also... home, away, practice jersey... you can always blame it on wearing the wrong shirt!

Have to be the last one out of the dressing room and last onto the ice.

As a player I always get dressed on the right side first.. I tend to retie my skates twice before setting foot on the ice as well. As for attending games. I only wear my Panthers jersey to opening and closing night. The rest of the time I wear international jerseys. I also park in the same spot

I have a red Devils hat that looks to have been threw the war....It needs to be on my head during the game if not i go get it.

Jay good point. And It has to be the Dev's channel if they are playing the Rags,Isle or Flyers I have to have MY announce team on for sure, not the other local channel.

As a player I used to dress the same (left skate first etc,etc.)

As a goalie Very Superstitious with my pre-game warm up and mental preparation.

-Gotta grow a beard for the post-season.

-When your goalie is having a shutout game never say the word "shutout" or it'll be gone in a heartbeat.

I don't play, but have some game day rituals.  I wear red all day on game day, and since the kids got me a jersey, that goes on at game time (It got hot during the SCF's!), whether I'm watching at the arena or on television.

I took off a necklace I'd been wearing when the Wings lost a couple of games in the playoffs, and left it right where I'd put it until after the Cup was awarded.  I also wore red all the time during the final round of the SCF's.

During the game I get furious if anyone (including commentators on telly) even THINKS the word.... maybe I can say it in the off season.... shutout.

Really looking forward to the hockey starting again!
