  1. Don't know much about home remedies, but drink lots of fluids like water and cranberry juice.

  2. Hi there,

    You need these 3 things

    1. Cranberry supplemental and juice not from concentrate, no added sugar.

    2. D-Mannose - This natural supplement prevents bacteria from adhering to the urinary tract walls. Very High success with this one I've witnessed.

    3. Probiotics - Good bacteria, this is of the utmost importance in destroying infections in the body, by putting more good bacteria in your body it eliminates the bad and prevents them from coming back.

Besides this you could research a Grapefruit kidney flush online, it is an excellent kidney and urinary tract cleanser.

As well Uva-Ursi is a great UT detoxifier.

Go with my first three suggestions and you'll be good as new. Especially #2 it's easily one of the best natural cures that no one knows about.

If you suffer from infections easily you might want to check out my source box as well to see if you suffer from Candida as well.

  3. A true UTI will require antibiotics.  And if you don't treat it, you risk the possibility of damaging your kidneys.

For maintenance (and to prevent them) the cranberry juice is a good idea, but NOT the way it's available in the stores, which is basically as cranberry juice cocktail.  It's too loaded with sugar and will do more harm than good.  Buy cranberry in capsule form.  You can probably get it at Walmart with the supplements.  Also drink lots of water or unsweetened herbal tea.

  4. Apparently many had the old family doctor for relieving the urinary infection . He was the one who prescribed cranberry juice and ordered me to drink 64 oz. within 12 hours. One never realizes the amount of fluid intake that represents. That was cranberry plain , not the mixtures of today.

  5. Cranberry juice.

    Scientifically proven to work.

You just have to drink it for a few days to make it work. One drink wont solve your problem.

  6. Drink lots of fluids and i suggest that you go to a doctor. Those can get nasty.

  7. cranberry juice and lots of water... antibiotic works best though

  8. A mixture of 1/2 tsp baking soda in a glass of water on the first signs of urinary tract infection. The presence of baking soda in your system raises the acid-base balance of the acidic urine.

Drink lots of water and cranberry juice as cranberry jiuce gets rid of the bacteria that lines the urinary tract..

  9. Ok, This is going to sound dumb but it will work.

Once I had a bladder infection and the way to get ride of those is to drink cranberry juice. but one night i went drinkin with my friends and got hammered drunk, it cleared up my infection. and you know as they say, BEER CLEANS OUT YOUR SYSTEM THE FASTEST! lol

  10. What all the others said, cranberries and blueberries. The reason for this is because they are high in antioxidants. I wouldn't recommend drinking cranberry juice, because it normally contains a lot of sugar. Rather just have plain cranberries. You may also want to drink a lot of water (about 6-8 glasses), and have less red meats (more cold fish etc.)

    Good Luck!

  11. indeed

    drink boatloads of cranberry juice

  12. LOTS OF WATER AND CRANBERRY JUICE. WIPE FROM FRONT TO BACK. GET SOME URISTAT FROM THE STORE SOLD OVER THE COUNTER FOR A FEW DOLLARS TO TAKE THE SYMPTOMS AND CALL A DR. GOOD LUCK! ALSO NO CAFFEINE OR CARBONATED DRINKS, IT MAKES IT WORSE.

  13. Cranberry juice. If you go to a doctor, they'll prescribe antibiotics, and there's no down time. I'd go to the doctor, because over time it can (and will) get worse.

  14. Water water and more water.....

  15. Drink cranberry juice.  Eat some yogurt.  Drink lots of water.  If none of this work then you need to see a doctor.  Do not wait to long, there will come a time when you will not be able to pee.  You will have the urge to go but will not be able to.  That is more painful than you can imagine.  Your best bet would be to go to a doctor now.  A few hours off work will not matter compared to losing weeks because you are in the hospital.

  16. Sometimes there are no home remedies for urinary tract infection. You can make it worse if you do such a stupid thing. If your trying to save money...don't cause you might make it worse.
