What are some honest, reliable and unbiased news/current events websites out there?

Well, all news sources are biased to some extent, so there's no such thing as unbiased source. Some however have an agenda, and those are much worse. It's best to read a great variety of sites, compare what they say, and come to your own conclusions.

That said, Haaretz and Al-Jazeera are both pretty good, and head and shoulders above most Brit or America sites:

Compendium sites are also good, those that link to articles in a variety of other sites. They are not without their bias, but much can be learnt by monitoring them:
