  1. What about taking your close girlfriends to a salon and getting manicures and pedicures and then out to lunch or dinner.

Going to show or concert and out to dinner after, or dinner before and then to the show or concert.

    Dinner cruise.

    Amusement park with your friends.

Weekend getaway with a few of your closest friends.

Nice restuarant for dinner, not the usual places that you go out to eat, somewhere really nice that you would like to, and have dinner with your friends.

If you have a Dave and Buster's nearby, go there and have some fun and then have lunch or dinner there.

If you want to do a party at your home, invite your friends have, serve the birthday girl's favorite food, whether it's Chinese, pizza, taco bar, etc, have some snacks, etc, decorate with balloons in streamers in 2 or 3 of her favorite colors.  Get a cake either a regular round or square cake or a tiered cake or bake her one.  They have a cake mold out that's in the shape of a HUGE cupcake, it's very cute. You can even just make cupcakes which is very trendy now.  You can put Happy 20th Birthday _____ and each cupcake has one letter and number, etc.

Then you can play some games like Twister, but I think even just socializing would be the majority of the party, but if you want to do games you can do:

    -Twister

-Who knows the b'day girl best? (trivia game about the b'day girl) whoever answers the most questions right wins and have the answers already written out so no one thinks they were changed during the game.  You can ask questions like,

What's the b'day girls favorite color?

    What's her favorite song?

    What's her dream job?

Where would she LOVE to live?

    Favorite movie?

    Favorite actor?  Actress?

Come up with a bunch of questions and you can even ask her and have the answers ready.

There's another game that's usually played at kids' parties, but would get a ton of laughs.  You get a ball, and everyone stands in a circle with their hands either behind their backs, or at their sides.  They can NOT use their hands, but using their CHINS ONLY they have to pass the ball to the person next to them and the person has to take the ball from them with their CHIN ONLY!  Whoever drops the ball is OUT, and whoever is left standing at the end wins! This would get lots of laughs at any party.

You can break into teams and play charades, pictionary, etc.

You can play poker, blackjack, etc.

I hope some of these ideas help and that you, or whoever's birthday it is has a great party and a very Happy Birthday!
