Saudi Arabia is one country that belongs to the group known as the "middle east". Its important cities include: Riyadh (the capital), Jeddah, Dammam, Al-Khobar, Hofuf (Al-Hassa), Jubail and Rastanura.

Middle East countries include: Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, UAE, Bahrain, Oman, Yemen, Jordan, Israel, Lebanon and Syria.

- Mecca: besides Jeddah

- Medina: like 400 Km north of Mecca- still in the west
