  1. The Day of the Dead?? I think

  2. one of the most celebrated holidays in Mexico is christmas eve. or Noche Buena.  Families come together to a single home and feast, dance, sing and bash piñatas.  Another celebrated holiday is New Years eve, just like us.  Once the clock strikes 12 and a new year is born, everyone has to greet eachother into the new year by giving each other hugs, even if there are over 40 people at the party!

  3. Hi!!

1824 was an important YEAR for Mexico City because The Federal District was created then.

You could look for more stuff on Wikipedia. Thats were I got it from =). But... do you need years or actual dates?

  4. well, I'm not completely sure if it's designated for Mexico City but I know it's throughout Mexico, and maybe places like Spain. It's called Cinco de Mayo (May 5th) They celebrate the dead. It's also known as the day of the dead. One day they celebrate the dead children and some other days they do other stuff. One thing they make is this skull made out of salt and they put decorations on it and they eat it! And, I don't think the 1 i'm about 2 tell u about is an important date like a holiday or anything, but one time a volcano erupted in or near Mexico City, and the volcano's name was Popocatepetl. And I know u prob think I spelled that wrong, but that's seriously how it's spelled, sorry I don't have 2 much info 4 u, but I hope I helped a little! R u doing a project or something on it? well good luck anyways!
