  1. Lake Titicaca is awesome. Tiwanaku is there.(great examples of precolombine monumental architecture, look it up) La Paz is pretty interesting city...

    Uyuni salt plains are pretty cool too.

    On the eastern side you should consider the Jesuitic Missions of Chiquitos. If you wanna know what they were about check "The Mission" a really cool 80's movie with robert de niro and jeremy irons...
